LOW & SLOW. HOT & FAST.

Simon Weiland

Precision meets instinct. Simon explores what happens when fire, patience and respect for ingredients come together.

Read the story

For Simon, the kamado is more than just a place to cook, it’s a tool for precision, power, and creativity. After more than two decades by the fire, he knows exactly how far you can push the boundaries when technique meets instinct. Based in northwestern Skåne, Simon has built his style around passion, patience, and respect for the ingredients. As an ambassador for Kamado Sumo, he aims to show that the grill should never set limits, it should open up possibilities. Here, low & slow, intense heat, and high-temperature searing come together, all built on control over heat, time, and ingredients. The result is robust, flavorful BBQ with distinct character and depth. For Simon, grilling is a craft, and every session is a step closer to even better flavor.

The Housewives' BBQ

A shared love of ingredients, fire and community. The Housewives’ BBQ makes room for more people around the grill.

Read the story

The Housewives BBQ is one of Sweden’s two all-female competitive grilling and BBQ teams. The team was founded in 2018 and has since secured several top-five finishes, including first place in the vegetarian category in 2021 and fourth place in the Nordic Championships for spare ribs. Behind the name is a group of ordinary women with jobs, families, and children, but with an unusually strong passion for fire, ingredients, and flavors. None of them work professionally with food, but their passion is all the greater for it. The goal isn’t to take over the grill, but to take a seat at it, together. With natural feminine strength, The Housewives BBQ shows that BBQ can be both rugged and elegant, and that the most important thing around the embers is always the community.
